4.2 NGO Responsibilities

As an NGO, you agree to:

• Provide clear and accurate project requirements
• Engage constructively with students working on your projects
• Provide timely feedback on project deliverables
• Acknowledge the contribution of students in any public mention of projects developed through our platform
• Use projects received for your stated organizational purposes

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Platform Content

The content on our platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by OpenImpactLab or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit in any way any content from our platform without explicit permission.

5.2 Project Ownership

Unless otherwise specified in a separate agreement:

• Students retain the rights to showcase projects they complete on our platform as part of their portfolio
• NGOs receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and implement projects developed for them through our platform
• OpenImpactLab may showcase projects on our platform for promotional purposes, with appropriate attribution

6. User Content

You retain all rights to content you submit, post, or display on or through our platform. By submitting content, you grant OpenImpactLab a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content in connection with the operation of our platform.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you submit, and that such content does not violate the rights of any third party or any applicable law or regulation.

7. Prohibited Uses
